Nantahala Outdoor Center

Located in Western North Carolina with several regional outposts, Nantahala Outdoor Center is the nation’s largest outdoor recreation company. Their world-class staff leads guided whitewater rafting trips on seven of the Southeast’s best rivers including the Chattooga River, French Broad River, Nantahala River, Nolichucky River, Ocoee River, Pigeon River, and Chattahoochee River. Ocoee Whitewater Center

The Ocoee Whitewater Center was built by the U.S. Forest Service for the 1996 Olympic canoe, kayak, and slalom events. Toccoa Valley Campground

Blessed with one of the most beautiful stretches of the Toccoa River, Toccoa Valley Campground offers 6 miles of tubing, kayaking, and rafting. Choose from tubes, kayaks, or two-person, four-person, and six-person rafts. After your trip, a shuttle will be waiting to drive you back to the campground.

Toccoa Wilderness Tubing

Go for a family-friendly, relaxing, and stress-free float down the Toccoa River, just a short drive from Blue Ridge. Rent a tube with Toccoa Wilderness Tubing, and a driver will drop you off just a few steps from the river at the Sandy Bottom launch area. Float at your own pace for 1.5–2 hours past beautiful scenery and a few rushing spots to the historic Shallowford Bridge back at Toccoa Wilderness Tubing.
