Moving & Name Change

But with growing popularity and attendance, the festival has found a new home—and a new name. Now called the Georgia Mountain Scottish Festival & Highland Games, it will be hosted at the spacious Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee. This exciting move brings expanded programming and a scenic new setting to honor centuries-old traditions in true Highland style.
