Nestled in the heart of Hiawassee, the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival invites families, friends, and adventurers alike to join two weekends of unforgettable fun, October 10–12 and 16–18, 2025.

Whether you're sipping hot cider, tapping your toes to live bluegrass, or browsing handmade treasures, this beloved event brings the best of autumn to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds.

A Celebration of All Things Fall

The Georgia Mountain Fall Festival is one of the season’s most anticipated events, drawing visitors from across the region for a mix of live music, Appalachian heritage, arts and crafts, carnival fun, and that unmistakable mountain charm. Set against the backdrop of Lake Chatuge and fiery fall foliage, it’s a perfect way to experience the spirit of North Georgia in October.

Festival Details

  • Dates: October 10–12 & October 16–18, 2025
  • Hours: 10 AM – 7 PM (Daily)
  • Location: Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Hiawassee, GA
  • Admission: $7 per person (kids 12 & under are free)
  • Parking: Free
  • Pets: Not permitted on the fairgrounds

Concert tickets are available separately but include the same-day access to the festival.

For families with young ones—or the young at heart—the carnival midway is open October 10–12 only. Expect rides, games, sweet treats, and classic fair vibes under the autumn sky.

Fall Fest wouldn’t be complete without rows of artisans and vendors offering everything from handcrafted jewelry to woodwork, pottery, and holiday décor. Be sure to bring a tote and an appetite. 

You’ll find everything from smoked BBQ and kettle corn to homemade fudge, apple cider, and fairground favorites like funnel cakes and fresh lemonade.
