On Saturday, September 20th, 2025, the best blues and barbecue will come together at West Main and Church Street for an unforgettable experience. From smoky ribs to sweet jams and seasonings, there’s something for everyone.
Festival Activities & Live Music
The festival features a variety of activities sure to please music lovers and foodies alike. Starting on Thursday, September 18th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the event officially kicks off at the Blue Ridge Farmers Market — 787 Summit Street with The official kick-off party for Blues & BBQ Weekend.
Main Event – Blues & BBQ
On Saturday, September 20th the main event comes to Downtown Blue Ridge as the Blue Ridge Blues & BBQ Festival gates open at 11:30 a.m. rain or shine tickets are $20, and kids 12 and under are FREE. All while you take in the sweet smell and mouth-watering taste of BBQ from 15+ local and regional cookers.
+ Live music starts at Noon with Out of the Blue until 1:00 p.m.
+ The Garrett Collins Project play from 1:30 to 3:00.
+ The Crossroads band starts at 3:30 p.m. and goes until 5:00 p.m.
+ Tullie Brae from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
+ Black Cat Zydeco takes the stage from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The Market
This year's Blues and BBQ festival will include, "The Market". This area will have 10+ vendors of BBQ and food-related items. There will be sauces, rubs, custom cutting boards, and much more for you to purchase for your home pit boss.
The beloved Kids Korner is back and bringing a fresh lineup of fun for children to enjoy. This year, kids can look forward to two exciting inflatables, an obstacle course, and a slide, along with a free gem mining experience. Face painting will also be available, adding a creative and colorful touch to the festivities. It’s a fun-filled setup that offers something new and exciting for families to enjoy together.
