Nancy Womack Trail

The trail initiates near the Upper Falls, crossing Disharoon Creek via a wooden bridge and delving into a fragrant hemlock forest. Following white blazes, hikers will encounter a Native American trail tree at 0.2 miles, just before crossing Valley View Drive. The path includes several creek crossings over wooden bridges and stepping stones, leading to the serene Nancy Womack Falls at 0.65 miles, where the creek cascades over a smooth rock outcrop. The trail's most strenuous section begins here, with a side trail at 0.85 miles to Ponder Point, featuring a secluded waterfall.
