Rivers D Lite - Pet Friendly Cabin in Blue Ridge

Rivers D Lite cabin was awesome!! Easy drive and not too far from downtown Blue Ridge. Quiet neighborhood/ road. River is literally right off your back porch.

Everything was wonderful and so relaxing! We had such a great time!! If I had any suggestions on how to make it even more perfect it would be: New shower heads in the showers and re-organized/updated kitchen utensils I would definitely recommend this cabin - Everything was wonderful and so relaxing! Everything was great. The cabin well-appointed and very clean. The site beautiful. One issue was the BBQ, bordering nasty. Needs refurbishing or replacing. We like to bbq and we also have a 10 year old Weber, but not like this. Tiffany, was the best…..

Easy to book, great communication before and during the trip, easy to find and get to house, beautiful cabin. We brought our own but maybe an option of having a float or something for the river since it’s such a huge part of the house. Also in the main bedroom since there’s the large window above the door maybe a cheap little eye cover including with the welcome kit that was in the bathroom. Just a note for the directions - my gps guided me accurately. Tiffany checked in during the stay then I also spoke with three people but I don’t know their names :( one had an extension of 108 or 180 I belief and helped me with the trash then I spoke with someone after hours and she was able to send someone to help me with the grill getting to start. Everyone was amazing!

River’s D’Lite has always been my stay since 1997. Rivers D Lite is a great location on the Toccoa River and close to the towns of Blue Ridge, Helen, Dahlonega and so many waterfalls. We enjoyed them all, and tubing the river right back to Rivers D Lite. I don’t know who helped me, but the entry code didn’t work and through texting, the issue was quickly resolved.

The folks at Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals are great to work with. A smoke detector in the garage was beeping and they came out and fixed it right away. Very friendly and responsive. The cabin was beautiful and was better than the pictures Deck is awesome and the view must be one of the best on the river. Kitchen is fully equipped and modern. Did not see a single bug of any kind inside. Water pressure for the showers was great. Gas fireplace warms up the living room quickly to take the chill off. Gas grill on porch is new and clean. Steps lead down to the river lead to the fire pit and a wadable section of river to fish. Nice 2-mile hiking trail is 1/2 mile away. Blue Ridge is 13-minute drive to the shops and restaurants.

Our recent stay was great. The cabin was beautiful and was better than the pictures, which is odd. Usually, the pictures are from when the house was brand new). Deck is awesome and the view must be one of the best on the river. Sunset lights up the ridge on the far stream bank and was beautiful with the fall colors. Kitchen is fully equipped and modern. As the literature mentions they have supplies to get you started (toiletries, dish soap, etc.) which are great, but you should bring your own supplies if you stay more than a couple of days. Blue Ridge is 13-minute drive to the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this cabin.

My family loved the cabin. The location to everything Blue Ridge has to offer was perfect. We hiked during the day and relaxed I. The hot tub at night with the sound of the river flowing below us. The camp fire was excellent. Over all it was wonderful and we would go back tomorrow.

This was our 6th year staying in a Southern Comfort Cabin and we have had nothing but amazing experiences! The cabin was beautiful! We picked it for the river view, and we were not let down. We spent most of our time relaxing on decks listening to the river! The deck!! The outdoor couch and chairs were extremely comfortable.

Everything was user friendly checking in. Had to call the afterhours number when we got here but the young lady was extremely nice and answered our question. They had the cabin set up and ready for when we arrived. Very beautiful location. Step out back right into the river. Far enough away from town but close enough to make a quick trip to town. Cabin was located in the middle of all the things we wanted to do during our stay. With the water as cold as it is, the hot tub was just right for warming us up. Extremely spacious cabin. Huge master room and bathroom. The shower was a hit! For just the three of us, it was way too big. However, we will be renting again!

Love the seclusion of the rental. So quiet and relaxing. Being able to sit on deck and listen to the river was so nice. Hubs did some fly fishing. First time in years. Rental had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

I love this cabin. I’ve been there four or five times. The backup generator was awesome. A tree fell and took out all the electricity, but we never even noticed because the backup generator kicked right in and the electrical people were there within hours and had it fixed within three hours. They had to cut up the tree and re-put in the lines. And we didn’t even have to call. We love this place we continue to go to it. I wish we could get a discount for being there so many times as a repeat client.
