Rich Mountain Chateau - Luxury Mountain Retreat in Ellijay, GA

I love love love the cabin. I just didn’t like that all of the game area is really outside on the lower deck. That’s the only place we really could come together and do games. It had 4 heaters and only 2 of them worked. I think if all of them worked would’ve been able to stay warm. The cabin is really nice; I like that each room has balcony access. The 1st night we noticed that the lower-level heat wasn’t working. I called and maintenance showed up very quickly. The only problem I have after that is the fact that he left a dead mouse that was in a trap in the closet with the heater furnace instead of removing it.

They even had toys for my granddaughter. The open floor plan in the great room made it easy for the entire group to gather, relax, and spend time together without ever feeling crowded. There were more TVs than I could count, fast WiFi, and a quiet, peaceful setting that made it feel like we had the entire mountain to ourselves. The bed swing on the balcony was a guest favorite, perfect for reading or just soaking in the view. Some of us even braved the hot tub despite the warm June weather—worth it! This place hits every mark. If you're considering it, don’t hesitate—book with the highest confidence. We already can't wait to come back!

It was an easy process working with your staff and we appreciated that. We also enjoyed that for an additional fee we were able to check in a little early. This house was perfect for our family. It was immaculate inside and out. We loved all the outdoor living areas on both levels. We also had a firepit that we used during our stay. It was convenient to order the firewood in advance and have it delivered. The bedrooms were large, beautifully decorated with nice bedding and each room had their own private bathroom. Our favorite was all the outdoor space. We watched football and played board games and everyone could do that in the same space. We had beautiful weather but this property is all covered so if it rains we can enjoy being outside with the fireplaces. We also grilled every night so we really loved the blackstone. We will definitely rent this property again. Everyone in our group were beyond happy with their accommodations.
