When you head into town, you’ll find plenty to do, whether you’re looking for a relaxing day or an action-packed week. For a more peaceful day, browse the specialty shops, get a massage, catch a live show at Blue Ridge’s Community Theater, or visit a local winery. For a little more excitement, Blue Ridge Adventure Park, tubing on the Toccoa River and hiking the Benton MacKaye Trail (Benton MacKaye Trail | Official Georgia Tourism & Travel Website | Explore Georgia.org) are waiting for you. Blue Ridge even hosts a family entertainment center (2nd Story Entertainment) located in a 112-year-old hotel that features a unique indoor 18 hole mini-golf course weaving in and out of 8 individually themed rooms.

After a day in town, the peaceful atmosphere of Trail Side Retreat will be much appreciated. The living room is open and inviting, boasting hardwood floors, and a stone fireplace. Curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book or flip on the 55”TV and watch shows and ball games. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the essentials you’ll need for preparing meals in the comfort of your cabin. The dining area seating 4 can easily seat the whole family for a nice mountain inspired meal.

When you’re ready for down time in the great outdoors, relax out by the fire pit, enjoy the beauty of your surroundings and breathe in the fresh mountain air while drifting to the sounds of the nearby gentle creek.

With beautiful and cozy interiors, a location not far from town, Trail Side Retreat is a great 2-bedroom cabin for any small family vacation, honeymoon, or peaceful weekend away.

 Dog-Friendly Cabin:  This cabin welcomes your furry family members with open arms!  Up to 2 dogs can enjoy the vacation alongside you, making for unforgettable memories. Our pet fee helps us maintain the comfort and cleanliness of our cabins for everyone to enjoy, and we are excited to welcome!

Please read our rental policy for our pet friendly homes, our dog friendly policy allows for up to (2) dogs in designated properties with a fee of $150.00 plus tax per dog. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests (including the furry ones), please inform us at the time of booking if you plan to bring your dogs. Keep in mind, some homes have size or weight restrictions, and for their safety, dogs should be crated when alone. While we may provide crates in certain properties, bringing your own is recommended. Always pick up after your pets to avoid additional fees, and rest assured, should any mishaps occur, we kindly ask for your cooperation in covering any damages. Bringing an unauthorized dog, or exceeding the limit without owner permission, incurs a $300.00 fine, plus potential extra cleaning fees up to $200.00 for non-designated homes.
