Between the hiking trails through the forests of the Blue Ridge Mountains and nearby public access of Lake Blue Ridge, the outdoor adventures are endless. You can also choose to stay inside with the warmth of the wood burning fireplace, resting on the leather sectional, while watching your favorite show on the 55" TV. Whichever you choose, be sure not to miss out on the stars above while enjoying your loved ones around the fire pit. Mountain, forest and seasonal lake views greet you as you pull up to your vacation getaway.

The view from the dining area will mesmerize as you sip on your favorite drink and the aromas of dinner tantalize your taste buds. Afterwards, for those who are still alert after that wonderful meal, there is a pool table below calling your name.

But when evening begins to see the stars come out, this is the time to find yourself snuggling up with that special someone, roasting marshmallows and sipping some hot chocolate in front of the fire pit out back. As the embers begin to die, don’t fight the sandman, and the warm beds waiting for you. Alas, there is another day of adventures just waiting for you to experience.

Family Memories

Our family had a wonderful time and your home is beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the deck and the kids loved the pool table and the fire pit. This was a very special trip for our family and we made memories we will never forget. This was our first time to Blue Ridge and we will definitely return.

Absolute peace with a great view!

Our family spent the week here to unplug, decompress and relax. This cabin provided just that for us. The mountain view is spectacular, especially while drinking morning coffee. The upgraded Keurig was nice to have. The cabin was super clean with no signs of wear. Looks like housekeeping takes real good care of it. We saw wild turkey and deer near the cabin. Surprisingly there were hardly any annoying bugs that allowed us to sit outside when we wanted. Will definitely come back here.

Wonderful Cabin

We came to this area for the change in colors of the leaves and the cool crisp temperature of fall. This cabin is great, the view is wonderful of the mountains from many areas of the cabin. The thing I liked was the bedrooms didn\'t have a big window that let light in when the sun rose in the morning. It\'s nice to see the sunrise from bed, but you are waking up at sunrise. The kitchen is stocked very well, we cooked several great meals, and had every kitchen item we needed. There are so many things I liked about this cabin, and really nothing I didn\'t. I feel that this is the perfect cabin for 4-6 people.

I will most certainly recommend this property to my friends. I miss being there already. Beautiful cabin with a great view and perfect location for a getaway or a retreat. It was professionally clean when we arrived. All the details were attended to. Southern Comfort truly cares about their guests. I can sit there all day with that view. If you listen long enough you'll hear woodpeckers in the distance!
