Deer Haven - Pet Friendly Mountain View Cabin

Your cabin is absolutely beautiful, charming and everything we envisioned for our little family vacation! We enjoyed all the decorations and little special touches. It was equipped with so much cookware and utensils which was very nice - We made a homemade apple pie from the apples we picked at the orchard! The cabin had everything we needed and made us feel at home. We'd move to visit again and would most definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to all our friends and family. Thank you for providing your incredible home to us. Special Highlights: Sitting on the beautiful and dreamy back patio enjoying the views and drinking coffee with family. Hot tubbing at night and listening to the rain fall. All the hiking was incredible, wish we could have done and seen even more!

The Deer Haven proved to be the perfect place for our family reunion. Plenty of space, clean, and comfortable. I miss having coffee on the deck beside the outdoor fireplace, on to ward off the morning chill. We enjoyed beautiful wineries, mountain views, apple orchards, numerous restaurants, and exploring the antique stores and specialty shops in Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Something for everyone. We will be returning to this wonderful mountain retreat!

Wow! What a beautiful cabin and what a wonderful time. Deer Haven is clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, well stocked with amenities for those things you forget (hairdryer, shampoo, etc), and surrounded by gorgeous scenery. There is even a separate “game room” apart from the main house - great for a teen hangout, a yoga retreat or a place to watch the game undisturbed. Our group (7 people, 1 dog) stayed 5 days and would have loved to stay longer. We had fun exploring all the shops in the nearby towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge.  We enjoyed not one but two nearby wineries  in beautiful mountain settings. A couple nights we cooked/barbecued dinner at the cabin and relaxed by the outside fireplace on the deck. Other nights we ate out at a couple of the excellent restaurants in town. If you are looking for a chance to get away and relax, I highly recommend checking out Deer Haven, you won’t regret it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Deer Haven Cabin is a clear winner! Our group of seven had plenty of space — it’s both spacious and cozy, making it the perfect retreat. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to BBQ, cook, and even bake together. There were so many places to relax — whether we were watching TV, reading, napping, or soaking up the sun on the decks and porch. The hot tub was the perfect ending to each day. The highlight of our stay? Watching a family of deer forage in the woods right off the beautiful deck — truly magical! If you’re looking for a mountain cabin that has it all, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Deer Haven Cabin, Elijay is the perfect place for a great experience. We have spent five days in this fantastic facility. We have come from London, England and can recommend to anyone looking for something extraordinary. It has four good sized bedrooms sleeping two to eight and very comfortable communal areas overlooking the mountains. There are decks at two levels with comfortable external furniture and a great hot tub to enjoy. The well stocked games room is a treat for any generation. Added benefit- they have a generator and no need to worry about power stoppages. The hosts are the best and have tastefully decorated the Cabin with character and style with considerable attention to detail - very elegant. We go with lot of pleasant memories.

Deer Haven more than met our expectations. Everything about our stay was exceptional! From the personal touches to the scenery to location, it was perfect. Deer Haven cabin was perfect, it offered different activities for kids & adults, lots of books to choose from if you wanted to read, breathtaking scenery from every angle, ridiculously comfortable mattresses, great water pressure in the showers, additional linens if needed, a basket of blankets by the couch, the loft couch was set up perfectly so that you could watch the downstairs TV from above, the kitchen had every appliance you could ask for and the care kits in every bathroom and the kitchen were perfect! We can't wait to book again!

2nd time we have been here and it is as nice as it was the first time. The Cabin is very clean, spacious and comfortable! Views are outstanding! And very close to the winery! Most relaxed we have been since the last time we were here! A nice end of the night in the hot tub and sitting by the fireplace is like staring in a movie. Starting to know our way around the area. Very cute town near by. Great restaurants to choose from along with our new favorite coffee shop. Can’t wait to plan our next trip here. Definitely we wil be back soon!

From the moment we drove to the location, it was beautiful! The warmth of the home was apparent when we pulled into the driveway with the log cabin look. The abundant view behind the home was fantastic as soon as we walked in. The vast number of windows gave us the wow that we were looking for. The home was large enough for our family without getting lost in too many rooms. The loft was something that you may find very appealing when you wake up and have that amazing view. The open kitchen allowed plenty of room with still allowing us great conversation with everyone. 2 fantastic fireplaces made it easy to relax. I especially like the early evening in-front of the outdoor fireplace. Being able to have that view and the warmth made it worth being there. I personally also enjoyed the separate outside bonus room that I took business calls without any interruptions from anyone. The kids also used it as the game room. The Hot- tub was perfect to end the day after the short walk to the near by Winery Can’t wait to schedule another vacation there!

I recently stayed at Deer Haven, and it was amazing! This cabin in the North Georgia mountains is a perfect place to relax and get away. The best part for us is that it’s pet-friendly, so I could bring my 2 furry friends along. The cabin is both cozy and spacious. The open living area has a warm gas fireplace and a big TV—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances, including a gas stove and a dual coffee maker, making it easy to cook meals. Eating on the deck with mountain views was one of my favorite experiences. Makes winding down so relaxing. The outdoor space is fantastic. The covered hot tub, comfortable seating, and private balcony off the king suite made it easy to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The property is beautifully landscaped, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Owners did a great job on this one. Another highlight was the Game Room, which has another large TV, a game system, a card table, yoga equipment, and a cozy lounge area. There was something fun for everyone in our group! The cabin is easy to get to with paved roads. It’s also close to great spots like Downtown Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Whitepath Golf Club, and Roo Winery. We really enjoyed the Winery and exploring downtown. If you’re looking for a quiet, fun, and well-equipped mountain getaway, I highly recommend Deer Haven. I can’t wait to go back!

This is one of the most tranquil and “back to nature” places I have visited. There is so much space and ambiance that whether you are a group or a couple, you will find your own sanctuary. Not to mention it’s a 5-minute drive to beautiful Roo Winery. I would go back in a heartbeat.

What a marvelous gem! Everything was just perfection. Dear Haven is a true \"haven\" from your day-to-day world. Wonderfully nestled in a cozy woodland setting, the ambiance alone will bring you back. The cabin itself feels so very comfortable and warm and is perfectly appointed with absolutely everything you will need for an excellent \"kick-back\" getaway. Being surrounded by the forest makes this such a delightful and restful place. A few miles down the hill, you find one of North Georgia\'s best wineries, Roo Vineyards, which is a really terrific place. In sum, Dear Haven is now on both my \"Must Do Again\" list as well as on my \"Highly Recommend\" list. What an absolute treat!
