Bluebird Day - Luxury Creekside Cabin in Big Canoe

We loved the cabin. It was clean and very comfortable. The privacy it provided was excellent. Only one recommendation. Put a small sofa or loveseat in the main room with the fireplace. That fireplace is so nice and needs comfortable seating to better enjoy it.

The cabin was extremely clean and well organized. The view was spectacular and calming. My whole family enjoyed the tranquility of this space. The only downside is the driveway. It was very difficult backing into and out of it especially since you can’t predict when other vehicles are coming around the curve. The kitchen was full of utensils that I use at home, and I definitely appreciated that. My family and I loved how comfortable the beds were. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

I called to extend my reservation, but hung up leaving no voicemail because it said it was after hours, however, someone called me back almost immediately & managed to help me extend my stay. I was impressed!

Lovely place, we will definitely be back in the future! The batteries were dying on the keypad lock and the owner was very responsive and sent someone out quickly to switch them out for us.

We loved our cozy stay at this Big Canoe cabin! The cabin is impeccably finished and easy to feel right at home in. A truly lovely kitchen and living space. Possibly the best mattresses we've ever slept on. Surroundings are serene. I wasn't familiar with the area and the winding roads made it very hard to find the place at night. Follow their directions! Super well- appointed- the home needs an electric kettle for the Brits, but that's it!! :) I recommend hiking lower and upper falls and stocking up on provisions as not to have to leave such a tranquil home. Thank you for the stay!

Bedrooms/bathrooms worked great for our family. Beautiful setting! Kitchen is adequately stocked. Loved the sounds of the creek! Welcoming and comfortable. Only suggestion would be to clean out the cobwebs in the rafters in all rooms and the dust on the back of the black doors.

If you are looking for the perfect cabin for your getaway, you have found it! The owners have thought of everything you could ever possibly need to make your stay comfortable! The beds are super comfy and the kitchen is one of the most thoroughly stocked we have ever seen. The interior is cozy and well-appointed, and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Do not hesitate to book this beautiful place.

My family had the most magical week staying in this cabin. We spent the days out exploring trails, boating and swimming. The cabin was the perfect place to return to after a long day. My children loved the downstairs bunk beds and enjoyed having their own TV space. The beds were so comfortable and the sound of rain the last couple of nights made for the best sleep. Can't recommend this cabin enough, and look forward to returning next summer.
