Bearing Haus - Cabin Rental in Aska Adventure Area

The cabin was amazing. There were so many pitches / nooks to sit at that were so relaxing. The outdoor fireplace was wonderful. I will say that the beds are all very uncomfortable. There were also a lot of pillows but no extra pillowcases. I did request some and never received them. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Our stay was awesome. We enjoyed the peace and fresh air. The cabin was lovely. More than enough room for our party of 6. Kids had a great time also. The cabin is clean and supplied with things you may need. We loved the decks/patios. We do wish they were all screened in. The views were amazing.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bearing Haus. The cabin was clean and well kept. The layout was perfect for a family with teenagers. Each floor had its own space with TVs, deck areas, and comfortable gathering areas. So, everyone could be together when they wanted but also have their alone time, when needed. The cabin is easy to access and very close to both grocery stores and outdoor adventure areas. Yet, you still don't feel like you're in a crowded area. We would definitely return to Bearing Haus for another visit.

We checked in and I have to say that we are overwhelmed with the cabin. As always it was well cleaned and maintained. The views are insane. I have to admit that before we came into the cabin I was worried that we may not have long range views. Well after touring the cabin it was well worth the trip and rental. We have never been disappointed with any rentals.

Great location and perfect size for a family. Only reason for 4 stars was the view. The pictures should be updated as the trees have grown and that “long range Mountain View” is really only partially visible from the upstairs bedroom.

We have used Southern Comfort many times and it has always been dependable and accommodating. Everything was just perfect!! Very clean and just exactly what we needed.

The cabin was super nice and conveniently located to the main downtown. The shops downtown were all exactly what you would expect in a town like that. The only thing I would suggest would be for more restaurants to be open for longer hours.

Bearing Haus Cabin was perfect. We have stayed in other cabins before, but this was the cleanest cabin we ever stayed. The cabin was beautiful, close to the activities (hiking, Mercer Orchard, downtown Blue Ridge, Wineries) We spent a lot of time in the game area and in the hot tub. We roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fire place. We loved the cabin and hopefully will be back soon.

Clear concise directions. Excellent communication, before, during and after checkout. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Well appointed with the Bearing Haus theme. Firm mattresses, plenty of cookware. Great porch spaces and dining area.

The stay was great it was 5 guys who are used to our wife's taking care of us but the cabin has everything in the right place so even 5 helpless guy could take care of themselves with no issues. Thanks for a great experience we will be back with our families next year but we will be needing a bigger place because we have big families.

I've already recommended this cabin to several people. The screen in porch was a big (huge) bonus for me, and I spent most of my time on the rocking chair enjoying the fresh air without worrying about bugs. My kids loved the pool table and TV and game area in the basement. We all had our own space. Renting was easy. Cabin details were explained in straightforward manner. Check in and check out details, as well as everything we needed to know about the cabin was also very well explained. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. No excessively long pre-departure cleaning list.

Great facilities, very responsive support staff when needed, efficient "business systems," and overall pleasant experience. Great place to stay as far as the facilities and amenities. Only detractor was the steep driveway, but it wasn't too long.

The location was great and the cabin was amazing!! Perfect for our small group! We very much, enjoyed the hot tub. It was clean and worked well. That was the one thing we really wanted and it was worth the time looking for a cabin with one.

I usually book with Airbnb but the prices were cheaper. Also, Airbnb has gotten absolutely ridiculous with checkout rules expecting the guest to clean the house completely when in the total price we paid for the cleaning fee. Great cabin and very clean. Location was perfect. It felt like you were completely away from everything when in reality you were a few miles. Very quiet and easy to access!
