My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the home over a long holiday weekend. You can tell the owners truly care and keep the house impeccable. I loved the multiple fireplaces and the decor. The views are beautiful and it’s in close proximity to town. I will certainly be returning for the fall foliage

Great location, just a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge and hiking trails. Gorgeous cabin with every amenity you could ask for…fire pit, hot tub, game room. Beautifully decorated and quiet. The absolute best family getaway for peace and quiet with the ability to enjoy everything blue ridge offers just a few minutes away. I cannot wait to return!

We stayed at this lovely home for multiple days over the holiday weekend and my family absolutely loved it. The house is clean, incredibly well kept, and you could tell the owners take pride in offering this home to others. From the small details in decor to the abundance of kitchen utensils this house was outstanding for me and my family. I loved the multiple fireplaces and the cozy town of Blue Ridge that is super close. I would not hesitate to stay here again and want to return for the fall foliage.

Beautiful spacious clean cabin with all you need for a retreat in the mountains! Love the fireplace outside kids had s’mores everyday! It is well located just minutes from downtown and short drive for hiking and waterfalls. Highly recommended.

Cabin was exactly as described, adequate communication about day of arrival, directions as well as day of check out. Had to contact the office about trash cans not emptied and the response was quick. My family loved it. The 5-year-old twins thought that was the best house ever built! We loved the outdoor fireplace as well as the fire ring. That was one of the nicest kitchens, from the appliances to the cookware and utensils. It was extremely clean, and the game room was a big hit. I can't remember but it was the Wed before Thanksgiving. She was extremely gracious and took care of our problem.

From the booking, the cabin was all we expected plus some, the way it was prepared and the checking in early could have happened if we arrived early. The staff i talked to was great. The cabin itself was a great choice, clean and the pictures do not do it justice.

When we had an issue with the AC, the afterhours service tech was there within an hour (Sunday morning), check in and check out was very easy. The entire process with renting the cabin was easy, it was well maintained Cabin was well stocked, comfortable and felt like home with a beautiful view. Everything about the cabin was perfect. Loved the covered outdoor seating area with a fireplace.

Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals is a great company with a broad range of cabins to choose from that would fit anyone's budget. Homes of many different sizes to accommodate a family/group of any size. Great locations in Blue Ridge and neighboring cities. Whisky Creek Retreat is a beautiful home. The pictures give an exact view of how the home truly is in person. Very spacious, warm, and inviting. The location is very peaceful and serene. This home has all the comforts and amenities you'd expect. Stores and restaurants can be found just a short distance away. This property met all of my expectations. The pictures were very accurate and true to in person.

I had a few issues with the house in that the fireplace had to be fixed and I didn’t get to use the hot tub at all, but your office couldn’t have handled it any better and was extremely responsive. Great privacy and location.

Explore Blue Ridge, hike to waterfall, shopping, Scenic Railway. We were recommended this property by a friend who had previously visited with his family. The fireplaces, the outdoor decks and the spacious, open living area were all highlights of this home. The loft was great for an additional sleeping area and the triple bunk downstairs was exciting for the kids. The bottom level was such a fun space for everyone in the house! The hot tub, the popcorn maker, the games all added an element of excitement!

The area is beautiful, great sunsets and nature activities. Yes, it was lovely and well equipped with everything we needed. Our group had a great time , cooking, playing games, hanging out by the fire.
