Perched above a serene private cove of Lake Petit, Thrush Turn Manor offers one of Big Canoe’s most breathtaking settings. From nearly every room, guests enjoy sweeping views of shimmering water and the Blue Ridge Mountains beyond. As you step inside, you're greeted by a dramatic three-story wall of windows in the Great Room, allowing natural light and scenery to fill the space. The open-concept main level brings everyone together with a warm stone wood-burning fireplace, lake-view living area, and a large chef’s kitchen with island seating, stainless steel appliances, and easy access to the dining room and second gathering space with its own fireplace.

Step out onto the wraparound deck, where a brand-new oversized hot tub, outdoor dining setup, and cozy seating create the perfect setting to enjoy sunset views, weekend brunches, or leisurely evenings under the stars. The main floor also offers easy-entry access and an attached three-car garage. Upstairs, a catwalk overlooking the Great Room connects two private ensuite bedrooms—both with stunning lake views.

Downstairs, the terrace level is designed for fun and relaxation, featuring a spacious game lounge with arcade machine, wet bar, large sectional sofa, and smart TV. Two additional bedrooms, each with private porches and ensuite bathrooms, offer comfort and privacy for larger groups. With multiple living spaces, five bedroom suites, dual fireplaces, and lake views from nearly every room, Thrush Turn Manor is an ideal mountain gathering place for family reunions, couples retreats, or memorable celebrations.

LOCATION: Big Canoe is conveniently located 25 minutes from downtown Jasper, Ball Ground, 40 minutes from Ellijay, and less than an hour to Blue Ridge. There are several wineries nearby to explore as well.

Please read our rental policy for our pet friendly homes, our dog friendly policy allows for up to (2) dogs in designated properties with a fee of $150.00 plus tax per dog. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests (including the furry ones), please inform us at the time of booking if you plan to bring your dogs. Keep in mind, some homes have size or weight restrictions, and for their safety, dogs should be crated when alone. While we may provide crates in certain properties, bringing your own is recommended. Always pick up after your pets to avoid additional fees, and rest assured, should any mishaps occur, we kindly ask for your cooperation in covering any damages. Bringing an unauthorized dog, or exceeding the limit without owner permission, incurs a $300.00 fine, plus potential extra cleaning fees up to $200.00 for non-designated homes.
