Southern View is a sprawling mountain house perched atop Big Canoe, offering forever southern views. The scenic twenty-minute drive to the house is well worth it. You'll feel at home and at peace in this tranquil getaway.

Living Space

The main level features a kitchen, great room, huge deck with a remote-control overhead sunscreen, TV room, and a king-size master suite with a full bath and double vanities. The upper level has two bedrooms sharing a full bath—one with a double/twin bunk and the other with a king bed. The terrace level includes a second master suite with a private bath, a huge recreation room with a big-screen TV, pool table, and two single daybed bench seats, plus a fifth bedroom with a queen bed and private bath.

  • Spacious great room featuring a cozy wood-burning fireplace
  • Gourmet kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and a Keurig coffee maker

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend this cabin to friends and family.
There were 10 adults and two children in our group, and the space was perfect—plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably without ever feeling crowded. The mountain views were absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more special.

Family Gathering!
Everything was wonderful! One recommendation is the cabin Southern Views is very high up, so I would add that four wheel drive is highly recommended for that cabin.

Well Appointed!
Well appointed and maintained property in the heart of Big Canoe! We came up for a fishing trip and couldn't have been more pleased! Quiet and secluded, yet a short distance from the marina, you're never far from fishing, hiking and fun! Very adequately equipped in the kitchen and comfortable beds await you in this mountain retreat!

The Views Are Spectacular
Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. Very comfortable and plenty of room for our family of 10. I was very impressed on how clean the house was. The views are spectacular. I highly recommend!!

The House Was Perfect & We Loved the Amenities!
I rented this home with my two children and their families, which included 4 children ranging in ages from 2 - 9. The house was perfect and had a wonderful view. We fished at the marina and swam at both pools. Our favorite amenity was the Beach Club. My 4-, 6-, and 9-year-old grandchildren loved the rockslide. We also enjoyed the canoe, paddle boards, paddle boats, and kayaks.

Loved Our Stay Can't Wait to Return
This house is tucked into the woods and you instantly feel at peace as you walk in. We were greeted by a family of deer when we checked out the back deck. The house was very clean and had all the creature comforts you would expect. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Location Was Very Nice!
My wife and I were visiting the area for hiking and waterfall trails. Big Canoe is a great location and the house is very nice. Way bigger than the wife and I needed but we liked that it was pet friendly. Everything was nice and was able to cook out on the grill on the deck.
