Dream Catcher - Scenic Mountain Cabin Rental

The cabin was immaculate and so comfortable. I loved the bed swing on the main deck. This is where I spent most of my time listening to the rain and relaxing. View is amazing.

Needed rest and to simply enjoy Mother Nature. Enjoyed waterfall’s near by, lovely train ride and excellent restaurants.

One of the best furnished and laid out properties we’ve stayed at in blue ridge. More suitable to family with teens or couples group etc.

The gas fireplace did not work on arrival. I reached out and a maintenance person was quickly scheduled and got it fixed.

BEAUTIFUL cabin with great views! Close to downtown but feels like you are tucked away in the woods! Amazing! The porch swing was so great! It was a favorite spot for us during our stay! I do not remember her name but when we arrived, we could not get the code to work. I called the number and she fixed it while we were on the phone!

We found the TVs a little difficult to navigate. Wish there had been some instructions. Under cleanliness, lower shower curtain had mold. Upper balcony had cigar butts in pail. Also a bear attacked our garage pails, even though we secured it properly. The box for pails needs a lock of some kind. The downstairs bedroom closet doesn’t close well. Our rental agent extremely helpful and friendly The off hours lady very kind and helpful The maintenance man who fixed fireplace very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful, everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A wonderful experience overall no issues the cabin was immaculate and perfect for what we needed for a reset. The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking, it was just me and my husband but there was more than enough room for a few more people had we had them there. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.

This was our second visit to this cabin this year! The views are picture perfect! We especially enjoyed the second-floor deck swing and fireplace. It was great! We appreciated the smores basket and wood bundle with starter supplies. We could have used a glass measuring cup. Better quality utility towels for the kitchen and bigger towels for the hot tub would be great. Also check the pilots on the indoor fireplaces prior to arrival. We were not able to get the upstairs pilot to light. We interacted via email regarding the pilots on the indoor gas fireplaces. We did not get a name. They responded in a timely manner and were very helpful.

Almost every cabin I looked at on the site was high quality and one that we would consider renting depending on the situation. When I looked on Airbnb and VRBO, I had to sift through tons of properties that I would never rent. Check in/check out process was easy. Beautiful cabin, good accommodations for 3 couples wanting their own bathrooms. Amazing views off of the decks. Long winding drive back to the house from the highway which does get old fast, but it helped it feel more isolated. There were a few small things that we didn't like - for example, the TVs and seating for dining - but on the whole, we enjoyed it.

Beautiful views and cleanliness. Loved the coziness of the gas logs. The bottom level was amazing. Very spacious and would be accommodating for anyone with kids. Fire pit was also a fav!!! We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful property for our vacation. The cabin was tastefully decorated and very clean. Housekeeping does a fabulous job. The views were breathtaking especially with the fresh fallen snow that surrounded us. I highly recommend Dream Catcher to anyone looking for a cozy getaway in the mountains! We were very pleased and can’t wait to revisit.
