Creek Side Hideaway - Pet Friendly North Georgia Cabin

I’ve been going to Georgia to get away for years—it truly feels like my home away from home. Over the years, I’ve stayed in several cabins, and this one was hands down the best! When booking, there are a few things that matter most to me, and this cabin checked every box: Easy access: The cabin was easily accessible without a four-wheel-drive vehicle. We visited while there was snow on the ground and had no trouble at all. I especially appreciated the paved drive. The location is also very convenient—close to major shopping and downtown. Be sure to check out The Pink Pig (open Thursday–Saturday) for great casual dining. We also had an excellent dinner at The Butcher and Bottle. Spacious and comfortable: The cabin itself is very spacious, with large living areas, bathrooms, and bedrooms. We loved the big dining table, which quickly turned into our puzzle table 😊. Beautiful grounds: The property is beautifully maintained. Access to the creek is easy thanks to what appear to be newer steps—only about 10 steps down from the large fire pit area. The creek was absolutely breathtaking, especially with snow-covered trees lining the water. Comfortable beds: When staying for a week, a comfortable bed is essential, and the large king-size bed was perfect—not too firm and not too soft. I also tried the second bed, which was equally comfortable. Dog-friendly: This was a huge plus for us. Our senior dog loved being outside and exploring the property close by. The Mineral Springs Walking Trail was perfect for a short, peaceful walk through the woods. We were the only people there, which has been our experience every time we visit. Exceptionally well-stocked kitchen: This was the best-stocked cabin kitchen we’ve ever experienced. There was a great variety of newer pots, pans, glasses, and dinnerware. Both a Keurig and a regular coffee pot were provided—and they even had sharp knives! I brought my own out of habit but didn’t need them. You’ll need nothing except maybe extra paper towels. Great for relaxing: The TVs were large and well placed, with most streaming services already available. The living room furniture was very comfortable, with a cozy couch and chairs with ottomans—perfect for reading and relaxing. Thank you, Creek Side Hideaway, for a perfect getaway. We will absolutely be back!

Absolutely loved this cabin. Close to town, easy drive to get there. Cabin was spacious and comfortable. Loved sitting on the porch overlooking the creek and our dog loved the yard where she could walk and play. Looking forward to coming back!!

Our little trip was perfect. We celebrated our 11th anniversary. My wife and I were thrilled with the cabin. The hot tub on those cold nights was awesome and playing the board games by the fireplace in the living room was perfect. Glad y'all had those in there. We grilled steaks on the grill and ate while listening to the creek flow. What a three day mini vacation. Ready to go back and I just got home.

Very friendly process and the cabin was exactly what I saw in the pictures. It was the perfect getaway. Very cozy and right in front of the river. Loved it. The only thing I would change is the toilet paper dispenser in the master bathroom. It's super close to the toilet and it's very uncomfortable.
