Copperline Lodge - Luxury Creekside Mountain Cabin

Although it was a nice cabin, i was a little taken back when we got there. The cabin is definitely not as new as the pictures and the description imply that it is. The lady bugs we unbelievable. In most cabins, i feel like it is very generic and feels comfortable, but this felt like i was staying in someone's cabin. One of the reasons i booked this cabin was so i could cook on the pellet grill over the weekend. I was a little taken back that there were no pellets in the cabin. The hot tub and cover need to be updated. We loved the bar and always spend most of the time on the deck in front of a fire. The master king was amazingly comfortable.

Perfect for everything we wanted for this trip. Downstairs for the teenagers…watching movies outside and the screen in porch for mosquitos. We have used Southern Comfort for the past 4 years for vacations in Blue Ridge & surrounding areas. They are all consistently clean, well-stocked and easy to ask questions about! I’m not sure who we spoke to. It was in reference to the power outage on our last night. Weather can’t be controlled but it was frustrating and I’m sure they were busy with all the other clients as well. The property was amazing. Our only complaint was that the fire pit was so far away from the house. And we had purchased firewood but would have had to carry it all down, which we didn’t do. There really wasn’t seating around it as pictured. Turns out to have stormed so we wouldn’t have been able to use it anyway.

This company was great to work with! They answered the phone & our questions, friendly & helpful! The house had everything you need to get started with your vacation without stopping for essentials first, as well as a stocked kitchen! Everything Was Perfect!! If I had to pick one thing, it would be the outdoor screened porches with plenty of seating, activities, fireplaces & TV's. They really thought of everything with this house!

The place is great, but more importantly, the staff is friendly, professional, responsive. I have used several cabin rental companies for my overnight horseback rides in the Cohutta over the past 25 years. They ranged from mediocre to nightmarish. I've been ripped off, cheated out of deposits, for crazy reasons like letting my dog sleep on the porch in rain storm, or failing to empty a trash can that only had a soap wrapper in it. I've been nickeled and dimed, lied to and spied on. I almost sued one SOB. And I am not hard to please or hard to get along with. You guys keep doing what you are doing. Thanks. I will probably rent the same place within a couple of months and some of my guest will do the same. . I interacted with several people, and was impressed with each person.

The cabin is beautiful! Plenty of places to spread out and relax. Love the outdoor areas, unfortunately, too cool and windy to stay out there long. Kitchen /butlers pantry was a great space to cook (even with a bunch of cooks). We will definitely look into booking this cabin again.

The entire experience was incredibly smooth. The home was fantastic and perfect for our crew. Tiffany reached out upon arrival to be sure we had everything we needed. Property was fantastic. Even with the pollen flying around. The home has a great feel and a fun place to hang after an active day hunting, fishing or hiking.

Beautiful Home located next to a creek. In a quiet community, you do have light traffic noise but it doesn\'t effect your stay. Other homes beside it but enough trees to make it secluded. The creek is nice there are stone steps at the creek that allow you to step into the creek. The walk down to the creek was a little steep but our toddlers were able to handle it with no problem. The cabin was well stocked with dishes and puzzles. The sinks, bedding, towels,toilets and showers were clean. TV had dish network and Netflix. It\'s a beautiful cabin to stay in The minor negative details: The fan in the living room we never turned on because we didn\'t know if the mounds of visible dust would fall off when we did. Under the couches and beds are never cleaned either based on the dust, food, spiderwebs and spiders that were under them, had to get my toddlers toys from under them and was disgusted by how dirty it was. Also the screened in porches were not swept: dirt, leaves and lots of big fuzzy dead spiders were all over the downstairs porch. In the kitchen there were several old Skittles in the spice holder on the kitchen counter and we found an open 1/2 empty box of milk duds in one of the kitchen lower cabinets. So it appears they only do the major cleaning spots but not the minor stuff that adds up over time Major Complaint: my husband chose this cabin over others I showed him because it had a covered carport to park under, however when we got there it was an enclosed garage that we couldn\'t access. We called the company the next day and they said they would check with the owner if we could park in it since the Hurricane was coming and we rented the cabin because of the covered parking. They called back later that day and advised that we couldn\'t use the garage. They should have given us notice of the change before our stay that the parking had changed so we could have decided if we wanted to still book that cabin. We booked in June for a stay at the end of September.
