About the role
Our Maintenance Technicians keep our vacation homes, operations office, and reservations office in good working order. You will handle plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work, inspect buildings, keep inventory, and schedule repairs, and you will often be the person who fixes a problem for a guest during their stay.
What you will do
- Open, complete, and close maintenance tickets
- Install and troubleshoot Point Central smart locks
- Resolve guest issues during their stay
- Handle small plumbing issues
- Make small carpentry repairs
- Install and make small repairs to hot water heaters
- Clean and make small repairs to gas fireplaces
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and TVs
- Assemble grills and repair bear bins
- Handle repairs at the operations and reservations offices
- Conduct safety audits
- Help with linens when needed
- Rotate after-hours on-call duty
What we are looking for
- Carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills
- Highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, with a strong work ethic
- Able to work alone or on a team
- Reliable transportation
- Customer service experience preferred
- Maintenance certifications preferred
