About the role
A great guest experience starts long before the guest arrives. It starts with a home that feels clean the moment the door opens: fresh linens, clean bathrooms, a kitchen ready to use, and nothing overlooked.
We're looking for dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented Housekeepers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a supportive, family-oriented team. This is more than a cleaning job. You'll be trusted to prepare someone's vacation home, protect an owner's property, and spot problems before they affect a guest.
How the work works
Each day you'll get your cleaning assignments, with instructions for each home. You work each clean from start to finish and are paid by the job.
Our standard
Clean every home as if the owner were walking through the door. No shortcuts, no overlooked details, and no settling for “good enough.” When you finish a cabin, look around and ask yourself: “I'd be proud for my family to stay here.”
What you will do
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, floors, and outdoor arrival areas to our standard
- Handle every kind of clean: between guests, before an owner's visit, after pet stays, and during longer stays
- Follow each assignment's instructions and complete it accurately
- Notice the final details: a crooked comforter, a missing remote, a dirty grill, a burned-out bulb
- Make beds, prepare linens, and restock supplies like shampoo and body wash
- Do a final walk-through before you leave; if something isn't right, fix it or report it
- Report damage, leaks, pests, safety concerns, and low propane so they're fixed before a guest notices
- Manage your own day in the field and request supplies before you run out
- If a guest reports a cleanliness issue, make it right
- Communicate early and help teammates; we work as one team
What we are looking for
Experience is a plus, but reliability, initiative, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic matter even more.
- Works independently and stays organized
- Takes initiative without waiting to be told
- Follows through so nothing gets overlooked
- Takes pride in the details
- Finishes the job correctly, not just on time
- Shows up on time and stays on task
- Welcomes feedback and coaching
- Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Communicates openly and asks questions
- Has a team-first attitude
Requirements
- Physically active work, including lifting about 40 to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with stairs, multi-level mountain homes, uneven ground, and changing weather
- Dependable transportation
- A smartphone for schedules, photos, and communication
- Weekend and holiday availability; Saturdays and fall foliage season are our busiest times
- Able to meet company driving and employment requirements
- Housekeeping, hotel, or hospitality experience helpful, not required; we're happy to train the right person
What you can expect from us
- Clear expectations and cleaning standards
- Training and guidance to help you succeed
- Scheduling help and support when unusual situations come up
- The supplies and tools you need
- Communication from leadership
- Feedback and opportunities to learn and grow
- Respect for you and the work you do
- A welcoming, family-oriented team
Safety comes first
No cabin, cleaning assignment, or guest arrival is more important than your safety. If something feels unsafe, stop and tell us. We will never ask you to knowingly put yourself in an unsafe situation.
Benefits
- PTO after 90 days
- SIMPLE IRA with company match after 1 year
- $35 monthly phone reimbursement
- One-hour lunch
- Employee discount program
