Happy Trout Hideaway - Creekside Cabin Rental

Customer service was exceptional with one small exception: the outdoor gas fire pit ran out of fuel our first night and although we contacted customer service, a new tank did not arrive until late the night before we left and had no instructions on how to install. Cabin was ideally located on a small trout stream and was a good distance from nearby cabins. It was well-maintained and had all the features we needed. The only minor glitch was the outdoor fire pit running out of fuel. When we arrived the cleaner/caretaker was just finishing up. We meant to leave a tip for her before we left but forgot to do it and we sincerely apologize for that.

Amazing quaint and cozy space for 4 ...no fish in creek but excellent for kids to practice and play. Tiffany was awesome. Attentive caring and knowledgeable. The beds were comfortable. Space adequate. Jacuzzi best part in cold weather

Cabin was exactly as advertised. Road in not to scary. Yes it was a beautiful area inside and out. Peaceful. The creek was amazing. Even though the rain kind of messed up our plans of fishing and chilling in the water. Can't stop mother nature. We did lose power for 2 hrs one night. But that was also something explained was possible in our booking process. Customer service was really good. And we had everything we needed for our vacation.

Great cabin. On a beautiful trout creek. So clean. So peaceful. We enjoyed our stay .did not want to leave. The cabin is right on water. The sounds of the water was so relaxing. A little peace of heaven.

We had a delightful, restorative time at this property. The outdoor spaces are well-thought out and well-equipped. Happy Trout Hideaway is rustic, secluded, tranquil, and breathtaking. Brent was on call on our first evening, driving down the narrow road we were walking on, when I waved him down to ask him about our hot tub that wasn’t working. He turned right around, headed to our cabin, and had the issue resolved, promptly. Brent was a super friendly gentleman. The customer service of Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals is superb. We had an issue with our door code upon arrival, which was, also, resolved in a reasonable amount of time. No complaints there. The cabin, however, is in need of a full-size refrigerator. Other appliances were new, so it may be on its way. The sofa, absolutely, needs to be replaced. Highly uncomfortable and uneven. The silverware needs to be added to. We kept handwashing, which was no big deal, but it was pretty. sparse. We will, absolutely, rent this cabin, again. Ideal for us!
