Beautiful mountain home. Love the building style. It's also a newer home. Good quality and style. Stunning views from the living room and decks/balconies. Every amenity. Loved the TVs in every room with good connectivity and wifi. Probably the most perfect mountain home that we have rented...and we've had a few.

Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals made the rental process easier than Airbnb. We arrived to our cabin on New Year’s Eve and the next morning a Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals team member called us (on a holiday!) to ensure everything with our stay was perfect and as we expected. What great customer service to go out of their way on a holiday to check on us. 

If you can’t be happy with a hot tub and multiple fireplaces in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, there’s something wrong with you. This cabin met our expectations perfectly.

Oh my word 10/10 beat cabin we have stayed in. It was very well thought out and had absolutely everything we needed. We have 4 kids and they had a blast. We loved everything about our stay. The master shower and bath are ahhhmazing! Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this slice of heaven! We can’t wait to come back.

The most AMAZING cabin we have ever stayed in and for sure the most beautiful views. We cooked constantly in the kitchen and there were plenty of kitchen essentials to make it all a breeze. The rooms are well appointed and the game room was a huge hit with the kids (and adults!). We would love to come and stay again! We had a group of 11 ages 6-86 and it was a blast!

The Ritz online booking and payment system was great for our family. The customer service was hard to get a hold of though. Cabin looked EXACTLY like the pictures online. The property met our expectations. There was even a Christmas tree there for our Christmas morning celebration. My favorite feature of the property was the roominess. No one in our group was running into or over anyone else in the cabin. There was more than enough room to accommodate all of us.

Our favorite blue ridge cabin. The views can’t be beat. We loved the outdoor fireplace and fire pit and just enjoying the beautiful view from the giant deck. Downstairs is a perfect oasis for kids. We will be back for sure.

The staff we spoke with were very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were a piece of cake. Trail Side Retreat was very clean, well-appointed and cozy. The cabin has a nice porch with a swing to enjoy the quiet scenery. There was also a firepit and new picnic table providing areas to sit out on the property and relax to the sounds of the creek. We also took advantage of the Benton McKay trail that ran along the property for hiking. We would definitely return here. We enjoyed the gas log fireplace along with all the outdoor amenities. Loved that the cabin is located on the area hiking trail! The retractable gate on the front porch steps was a wonderful surprise that allowed us to let our dog hang out on the porch and enjoy the fresh air.

We visited from FL with our kids that were home from college. We enjoyed our time here so much. We loved the hot tub and the upstairs fireplace on the porch. We made smore's and played cards upstairs. We enjoyed many restaurants in the area and took the Blue Ridge Scenic train ride. Thank you for decorating for Christmas! We loved returning to the cabin each evening with the tree lit up. It definitely keptus in the holiday spirit!
