Meet the Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals leadership team, and learn about our commitment to southern hospitality.

SCCR is supported by an office in historic downtown Blue Ridge directly across the street from the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway Depot.  In addition to this office we also utilize a 10,000-square-foot Operations Center nearby. Centralized locations close to our Blue Ridge cabin rentals help us provide a superior level of service. Our full-service team consists of nearly 70 employees and numerous professionals and home-service contractors in property care, guest services, reservations, and operations.  We work every day to provide a world-class experience for our homeowners and guests.


Leadership

Bob Stiles

General Manager

Bob joins the company as an operations and supply chain expert with over 20+ years of experience in Manufacturing Management. He honed his leadership skills in Special Operations of the United States Army and since retirement has served in operations leadership positions in multiple companies across the world, including several Fortune 500 ranked businesses. Part of his role will be instrumental in developing and implementing new processes that will enrich our guest vacation experience and owner relations. Bob is a native of Turtletown, Tennessee and with this position has fulfilled his dream of being able to move back close to home. He relishes the beauty and magnificence of the Blue Ridge Mountains and utilizing his skills for the benefit of the community.

Kim Cantrell

Director of Guest Services

Kim brings years of customer service and reservations experience to the SCCR team. Since 2016, as the reservations and guest services manager she exemplifies a steadfast devotion to her position. Overseeing the daily reservation operations and all of the specific aspects to ensure an amazing mountain vacation for the guests. Kim’s attention to detail is paramount. When not in the office, she loves being with her friends and family.

Matthew Dillard

Director of Operations

Matthew enhanced his customer service experience as a District Manager in the restaurant and service industry. He thrives on developing and guiding his team to new heights. Utilizing his extensive skill set, he is an instrumental member in aligning the Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals operations team into a world class operation. Matthew enjoys quality time with his wife and children in the beautiful outdoors of North Georgia.

Brendon Caudill

Business Development Manager

Boasting a strong leadership background while surpassing guest and homeowner expectations, Brendon excels as the Customer Relations Manager. He honed his skills in the maintenance world through his 12 years of service in the US Army. As the leader of the Owner Relations Team, Brendon stewards his team to always go above and beyond, providing nothing less than an excellent guest experience. He is looking forward to spending his down time exploring nature in and around Blue Ridge.

Amber Henderson

Director of Owner Relations

Amber’s roots run deep in the cabin rental industry, with 10 years’ experience in property management and owner relations. Her specialty skills consist of excellent multitasking, working well under pressure, and can figure out a solution when it seems impossible. She enjoys working with people and helping to develop plans and solutions while seeing things come full circle. She takes pride in her work and takes ownership of her accomplishments and failures. In her free time Amber loves spending time with her daughter & family.

Madeyln Queen

Marketing Manager

Born and raised in Upstate New York, Madelyn brings a fresh and innovative take on current market strategies. She continues to follow her career goals after having completed her bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing 4 years ago. She is an ambitious member of our leadership team at Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals and is passionate about creating a dynamic social media presence while getting excited about researching and implementing the latest market trends. She is dedicated to continually finding ways to create a strong community focused brand. Madelyn loves to travel, visiting family. When she is not traveling, she is happiest building her life in the mountains with her husband and pursuing her other passion in her writing endeavors.

Chuck Morrisett

Maintenance Supervisor

Meet Chuck, the dedicated Maintenance Supervisor at Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals. Chuck’s journey is highlighted by his significant role in constructing North America’s tallest freestanding drop tower and a record-breaking coaster that proudly held three world records upon opening. Transitioning from the dynamic world of theme parks to the serene mountains of North Georgia, Chuck brings a wealth of experience and passion to our team. As the leader of our Maintenance team, Chuck ensures the seamless operation of our luxury vacation rentals, consistently surpassing customer expectations. Beyond work, he embraces the tranquility of North Georgia, exploring Jeep trails, enjoying waterside moments, and attending concerts with his beloved family. Chuck’s commitment extends beyond maintenance; he actively coaches’ kids in sports, embodying a community leader with a passion for excellence. Join us in recognizing Chuck’s journey from the thrill of coasters to the peaceful retreat of North Georgia.

Erica Fairbourn

Erica Fairbourn

Director of Housekeeping

In 2021, Erica joined the Southern Comfort team initially as an Administrative Assistant to the General Manager and quickly found her skills best fit as our Housekeeping Manager. She comes to us with over 23 years of experience supporting Wyoming Law Enforcement and assisting Agents and Deputy Directors while also securing grants to manage the department. Now on our Southern Comfort team, she brings the same enthusiasm in customer service and is steadfast in her commitment to deliver an exceptional experience for each guest by setting the highest standards for our staff. When Erica isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Tom, their son Logan, daughter Shay, son-in-law Andre, and most of all her granddaughter Zuri. Her greatest accomplishment is seeing their two adult children adult successfully.

Denise McClelland

Chief Revenue Officer

Denise McClelland brings over 25 years of experience in the vacation rental industry and real estate. In 2018, she joined the Southern Comfort team to assist with market research and revenue management with a focus on driving sales, identifying market trends, and leveraging data to drive continuous change. She assists the Marketing, Owner Relations, and Reservations teams to ensure they are meeting their goals and setting the framework for success. Denise enjoys spending time with her family enjoying the outdoors.

Heather Stam

Partner

Understanding the value of service in hospitality and business, Heather helps to oversee the finer touches of SCCR. She is dedicated to ensuring guests enjoy their stays and homeowners receive exceptional property management services in Blue Ridge. Heather has real estate sales, leasing, and management experience of both single-family homes and high-rise apartments in the metro Atlanta area. In addition, she is an accomplished decorator, stylist and has a natural flair for making things look beautiful as well as functional. She loves the community of Blue Ridge and taking in the gorgeous sunsets with her family and friends.

CJ Stam III

Managing Partner

With extensive experience in hospitality management and real estate, CJ oversees the day-to-day functions of SCCR, ensuring a quality experience for both guests and homeowners. Since joining the company in 2009, he has enjoyed implementing cutting-edge ideas and being a part of SCCR’s fast-paced, dynamic environment. CJ is a founding member of the Blue Ridge Lodging Association, a founding committee member of the Blue Ridge Blues & BBQ Festival, a Fannin County Chamber of Commerce board member, and a member of the Vacation Rental Management Association. To CJ, Blue Ridge feels like a best-kept secret with a ton of fun things to do.

Owner Relations Team

As a stand-alone division of the company, the Owner Relations Team (ORT) is solely responsible to ensure that our cabin owners have a channel for direct 24/7 interaction with us. This highly specialized group is committed to the success of our owners and their investment.  Their focus embraces maintaining long-term relationships by keeping communication lines open and providing responses to inquiries in a quick and proficient manner.  Thriving on service efficiency the Owner Relations Team relishes in owner satisfaction from new property onboarding through executing on each owners goals developing a true partnership.
