Beautiful!! BUT 4 Wheel Drive Recommended

This cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The view is incredible. Probably the best that we have ever had as far as a view! It does say that you do not need four-wheel-drive at this cabin… But I absolutely think you do. We stayed where it was raining quite a few days in a row and came up the very steep driveway and could not get all the way up and rolled back a bit. A little scary! If you’re going up the drive way…GUN IT! and 4 wheel drive will help of course. Other than the driveway…we LOVED!!!

Bearcat Lodge was a well cleaned cabin with a nice kitchen and the weather was cool enough to use the outdoor fireplace to relax and take in the beautiful views.The first day there we saw 3 deer in the woods!

Needed A Change Of Scenery & This Was Perfect!

Amazing views! Great cabin layout. The views from the two upper decks! We spent most of our time on the main level deck, either the chairs or at the amazing table out there. Had to cancel planned Germany vacation due to pandemic, but needed a change in scenery - this was perfect

The Screened In Porch Is Perfect!

After tackling the somewhat scary driveway the view at the top makes it all worth it. The beautiful screened in porch is perfect for snuggling up with a book and enjoying being outside. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! I couldnt have asked for a better place to enjoy my week away with my husband! We will definitely be back in the future!

The Customer Service & Cleanliness!! Cabin Had Everything We Needed!

We stayed in the Bearcat Lodge. I am in the hospitality industry and have worked for several high end properties, this was definitely comparable to a Four Seasons/Ritz Carlton level. From the customer service to the cleanliness!!! It was our first time in Blue Ridge and I found the Bearcat Lodge just browsing the internet. The property was perfect and the location even better. It had everything we needed during our vacation (we love to cook), so the kitchen was used daily! The view was incredible and couldn't get enough of the sunsets each day....amazing! The layout is perfect when you have multiple people, as each room has it's own floor. The driveway was steep and a little scary the first time, but never a problem for our SUV's. We plan on visiting again next year.

Love The Open Floor Plan!

See you again soon!!! A simple, lovely getaway. This home is for you if you love views. The hoise is spacious enough for a family of 5 but can hold 3-5 more people. I love the flow of the home with the open floor plan and loft style, master bedroom upstairs and home length view of the mountains . And the downstairs large enough for another family, or just somewhere for the kids to retreat.
